Day 1 - Digging!

Well, we have the start of a hole. The guys broke ground about a week late due to the storms that moved slowly through the area. I got an email from our SR this morning with shots of the excavator hard at work.

We stopped over after dinner tonight to gaze in to what will be our basement in the not to distant future. One of the things that amazed us what that our lot is nearly solid rock.

More to come later in the week when they should be pouring the footer!

    Yay! This is when the fun starts and all of us oooh and Ahhhh over dirt and holes and concrete.
